Operations Administrator

Alliance Defending Freedom is looking for a highly proficient and organized Operations Administrator to join us in our Scottsdale, AZ Office. As Operations Administrator, you are a vital part of ADF’s Legislative Team. In this role, you will report to the VP of Government Relations. You will play an important role with the operational and administrative functions of the team and perform specialized and confidential duties.

Your Essential Responsibilities:

In this position, you will:

  • Support the administrative needs of the legislative team.  This includes managing team member schedules, calendars, expense reports and travel itineraries; coordinating meetings and events, including working in various applications to manage speakers and events; and facilitating various office-related needs, such as office supplies, IT support, invoices, etc.
  • Assist with bill tracking and legislative activities, including working within legislative applications.
  • Help organize and manage team records, resources and materials.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new team hires.
  • Perform research, assist with special projects, and maintain files and paperwork as needed.
  • Draft correspondence and proofread documents: Review grammar and sentence structure.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the functions, operating methods, protocols, and practices of the organization to effectively interface on various issues with management, other ADF business units, and outside entities.

Ability to:

  • Professionally handle confidential information.
  • Make sound decisions under demanding conditions.

Education and/or experience:

  • 3+ years of administrative assistant experience.
